Six things, and every one of them is read by something. Beside each is what it is for - if a field ever appears here without a reason, it should not be here.
- Legal entity name
- It appears on the invoice. The trading name and the name on the paperwork are frequently different, and the accounts department needs the second one.
- Billing address
- It appears on the invoice, which is what makes the invoice a valid one.
- Country
- It determines the tax treatment. We do not work the tax out ourselves - the country goes to the tax engine and the engine decides.
- Tax identifier, where you have one (optional)
- A VAT, GST or ABN number makes the invoice valid in your jurisdiction, and where reverse charge applies it is what applies it. Leave it empty if you do not have one - it is not a qualification question.
- Who should receive invoices (optional)
- It is frequently not the person buying, and an invoice that lands in the wrong inbox is an invoice that gets paid late through nobody's fault.
- Who should receive advisories and release notices (optional)
- A security advisory needs to reach whoever runs the platform, and that is rarely whoever holds the card.
The tax on your invoice is worked out by the billing system from the country and identifier you give. We do not calculate it and we do not hold a rate table.
And if you would rather not use a form at all, write to us. An MSP who emails gets the same licence the same day - the form is a convenience, not a gate.
What it costs
The rate is not published on this site yet. Ask us and a person will tell you - we are not going to put a placeholder number where a price goes.
This number is a starting point, not a commitment. You can change it in one action from your account, in either direction, and going down is not harder than going up.
